The Process

  • Background Information for Advisory Board
  • Provide select Company information
  • Review Company products and/or services
  • Detailed background discussion of Company
    Vision, mission, and values
  • Business strategy
  • Tactical, marketing HR and other key plans
  • Historical data (financials, operations, etc)
  • Company assessment (SWOT or other)
  • Meet key Company leadership and management
  • Program Development
  • Agree on Key Initiatives for Advisory Board Attention
  • Define Initiatives, Set Goals, Plan Milestones and Discuss Resource Requirements
  • Draft Initial Advisory Board Program
  • Ongoing Advisory Activities
  • Regular Program Review (meetings)
  • Assist with select outside relationships
  • General discussion of current operations and business issues
  • Revise Advisory Board Program as required

The Commitment

  • Advisory Board meetings 3 – 4 times per year
  • Available for phone calls and informal discussions
  • Annual review of progress and process
  • Report back to the Valley Advisory Group
